TECNARGILLA 2004: Progetti
Progetti’s exclusive energy recovery system is a truly effective tool for reducing the overall expenses normally facing ceramic producer companies because it drastically reduces the energy costs sustained by the entire structure. Unique, tried and tested and reliable, it can be installed directly on kiln flues to recover the energy that would otherwise be lost to the environment. It can be adapted to all continuous kilns and does not affect kiln operation.
The system allows for savings of up to 60% on energy costs. This efficiency is achieved by directing the energy in the flue gases from the kiln (burned gases) into the system where it is reused, resulting in much smaller energy consumption by the various user devices (drying chambers, tunnel dryers, slip heating systems, etc.).
It has been demonstrated statistically that the energy saving achieved by reducing the need for heat production for the plant pays back the investment for the purchase and installation of the Progetti energy recovery system in a period of between 1 and at the most 2 years depending on the cost of the gas used.
The Progetti energy recovery system has a rugged design with a minimal number of moving parts. It does not suffer wear in normal conditions and requires no specific maintenance.
A large number of plants have been installed and are successfully operating in the factories of leading ceramic companies all over the world. Progetti has made it extremely simple to install the energy recovery system. The technology is designed as a modular system of small exchange units which adapt perfectly to any type of kiln, making installation, upgrading and maintenance quick and simple.
The Progetti system allows for savings of up to 50% of the primary energy costs, at the same time improving the energy efficiency of the system and increasing its productivity, while assuring greater attention to the environment.
