Tecnargilla Design Award 2016: Participants at "Light and Shadow"
On September 27th, during Tecnargilla 2016, the Tecnargilla Design Award ceremony was held for the winners of the competition set up by Acimac (Association of Italian Manufacturers of Machinery and Equipment for Ceramics) and Rimini Fiera to recognise the latest technological innovations applied to the ceramics industry.
The fourth edition of the of the competition, this year centring on the theme of "Light and Shadow", saw the participation of twelve machinery and paint manufacturers (Colorobbia Italia, Digital Design, Emar Impianti, Esmalglass Itaca, Esmaltes, LB Officine Meccaniche, Metco, Sacmi, Sertile, Surfaces, System Group and Torrecid Group), whose projects had to meet the five requisites asked for by the jury: aesthetics, versatility, commercial potential, originality and innovative technological content.
The winner of the Tecnargilla Design Award 2016 was the project "Mutant" by System Ceramics.
