Diago looks forward to recovery
As Diago noted, 2004 has hardly been an easy year for the Spanish tile industry.
A number of companies have been hit by the contraction of markets, although the general situation remains positive.
Operations are consolidated and the sector maintains good margins in terms of both exports and economic activities. In 2005, Diago revealed, the Spanish association intends to promote ceramic products in the Spanish market, particularly amongst architects and end users.
Diago believes that in 2005 the Spanish producers must focus on higher product quality and on improving the sector’s competitiveness.
