Aldero Group launches new Firemat business unit
Firemat is a new business unit opened in Leggiuno (Varese), close to the municipality of Laveno, by Aldero, a leading company in the ceramic sanitaryware and thermal insulation sectors.
Located in an area that has been well known since the nineteenth century for its ceramic tradition and the production of refractories made from the finest raw materials, Firemat will produce refractory materials for the firing of sanitaryware, tableware, mosaic, glass and special pieces of various kinds. In particular, it will use a casting technique to produce materials with high mechanical strength and thermal resistance.
Thanks to the more than thirty years’ experience of its technical staff and the adoption of high-performance technologies, the company is able to tailor its offerings to individual needs while taking account of the specific characteristics of products, production profitability, energy savings and environmental sustainability.
Benefiting from Aldero’s extensive experience, Firemat boasts a high degree of specialisation in areas ranging from the creation of moulds of any shape, size and complexity to the formulation of bodies with the highest levels of thermal shock resistance and meticulous control of all production stages.
Tiziano Sanvido is responsible for product design and development while Carlo Petoletti, who has many years of experience as production director for technical ceramics and porcelain manufacturers, is in charge of the entire production and plant cycle.
