The educational project developed by Zschimmer & Schwarz Ceramco has expanded its scope with the addition of a podcast service, launched at first in Italian, while it will be available for the international audience by the end of the year.
“Apparently invisible yet constantly present”, the educational project launched two years ago by Zschimmer & Schwarz Ceramco, is evolving.
In addition to the videos posted on the company’s YouTube channel and on the zslab.it blog, podcasts are now being released every other Monday from the end of April on the major audio platforms (Spotify, Spreaker, Apple and Google Podcasts). The service is now available for Italian users, while it will be extended to the international audience by the end of the year.
Through this initiative, Zschimmer & Schwarz Ceramco aims to provide audiences with a simple and accessible introduction to the extremely complex and heterogeneous world of chemicals for ceramic production and to address the various critical issues facing ceramic producers. For each issue, the podcasts discuss the origins and causes of the problem and, where possible, offer solutions to avoid, resolve or at least mitigate it.
The name of the project, "Apparently invisible yet constantly present", refers to Zschimmer & Schwarz’s products, which consist of gelatinous and transparent substances that burn and evaporate in ceramic kilns without leaving any apparent trace. But despite their apparent invisibility, they play a crucial role in ensuring smooth processes and the production of technically and aesthetically high-performance ceramic products.
