Cerámica Alberdi adopts System end-of-line technology
The new end-of-line automations developed by System are due to be started up at the production facility of Cerámica Alberdi in Argentina during the first few months of 2017.
These include high-speed and efficient Multigecko sorters with rapid size change, 4Phases packaging machines for sizes up to 120x120 cm, Falcon portal palletisers, a pallet finishing plant and AGV vehicles.
Quality control will be performed by two Qualitron units, the high-definition vision system consisting of two black and white cameras, a colour camera and a custom-designed lighting device to allow for defect recognition and precise colour tone inspection even at high throughput speeds.
The order from System also includes the Rotocolor XXL BS roller printing system for large size tiles and two Nuova Era glazing lines complete with all applications necessary to guarantee the maximum efficiency and quality.
All technologies are designed in accordance with the Cerámica Alberdi business plan, which includes the market launch of a new range of full-body and glazed porcelain tiles produced in an innovative size.
