Ceramica Constrular doubles production with Manfredini & Schianchi
Ceramica Constrular, a Brazilian company based in Pouso Redondo in the state of Santa Catarina, has expanded the plant installed in 2010 with the cooperation of Manfredini & Schianchi.
The line produces hollow bricks and is equipped with the latest dry grinding technology including P.I.G. mills combined with sieving equipment.
The main part of the order consists of the new Forgia F9 wetting machine, which is capable of humidifying up to 40 tons/hour of raw material with an outgoing moisture con tent of 17%, thereby improving the performance of the extruder in the next stage of the process.
This sizeable investment has enabled Ceramica Constrular to double its production capacity to 500 tons/day of hollow bricks with lower production costs and higher product quality.
Installation was carried out with the support of Manfredini e Schianchi do Brasil, which provided expert support and assistance throughout all stages of construction.
