Ceramica Universal and B&T White organise open house event
In early June, Novosibirsk-based firm Ceramica Universal welcomed a number of Russian sanitaryware manufacturers to a technology open house event organised by B&T White, the sanitaryware division of SITI-B&T Group. The highly innovative formula chosen for the event (a first for the Russian ceramic industry) proved extremely popular with participants and was made possible thanks to the helpful cooperation of Ceramica Universal. The event was organised by B&T White with the participation of the division's sales manager Hermod Allertsen. Technicians from Ceramica Universal illustrated all the installed technologies and answered questions from participants.
The company produces 800,000 pieces/year using both conventional and medium and high-pressure casting technology and has adopted a dryer, kiln and glazing island from B&T White. Participants were given detailed information on the characteristics and benefits of the glazing island, including the timeframes and average cycles, and on the efficient technical support provided by the SITI-B&T customer service team over the internet.
