Ceramika Paradyz invests in Sacmi pressing technology
A new pressing and drying line for large-format porcelain tiles was recently installed in Paradyz Group's facility 1 in Tomaszow Mazowiecki, Poland.
The plant, consisting of a high tonnage PH7500 press and an EVA784 vertical dryer, was installed alongside a similar line started up just a few years ago. In addition to the core machines equipped with energy saving devices, the Italian group also supplied moulds produced by Sacmi Molds&Dies using a multi-format base system.
This latest investment comes a few months after the one made at the end of 2014 in the nearby facility in Milenjina Street. This too was a twin plant consisting of an additional PH5000L press and an upgrade of the existing EVA793 vertical dryer to meet demand for larger porcelain tiles.
Both installations were carried out by Sacmi Polska, the group company set up in 2002 in the city of Tomaszow Mazowiecki to provide expert technical support and supply spare parts to ceramic manufacturers in Poland and neighbouring countries.
