Confindustria Ceramica proposes Franco Manfredini for chairman
Franco Manfredini is the new chairman designate whose nomination will be submitted to the Confindustria Ceramica General Meeting on 25 May.
The designation was made during the meeting of the Executive Board held yesterday, 7 April, at the Confindustria Ceramica headquarters, when the Designation Committee (led by Angelo Borelli together with Viterbo Burani and Alessandro Scopetti) reported the findings of almost two months of consultations with the association’s members.
Franco Manfredini, chairman and managing director of Casalgrande Padana, has many years of experience within the association. He first joined the Assopiastrelle Executive Board in May 1986 and has acted as chairman of various advisory committees, including ‘Technical Standards’, ‘Training, School and University’ and ‘Environment and Safety’, and has also been a member of the ‘Statistics and Editorial Activities’ committee.
Manfredini will be confirmed as chairman at the General Meeting to be held on 25 May in Sassuolo, when he will take over from outgoing chairman Alfonso Panzani.
