The countdown to Batimat Russia 2018 begins
The annual appointment with Batimat Russia, the leading Russian construction and interior exhibition, will be back in the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre in Moscow from 3 to 6 April 2018.
Alongside the top Russian ceramic tile and sanitaryware producers, including Kerama Marazzi, Estima, Della, Italon (Concorde Group), Laminam Russia, Lasselsberger, Unitile and Uralski Granit, the show will also see the participation of Keramin (Belarus), InterCerama (Ukraine) and a number of Italian and Spanish companies assembled respectively under the banners of Ceramics of Italy and Tiles of Spain. The participation of leading foreign tile producers reflects the importance of the Russian market, where imports from Europe resumed growth in 2017 following a severe decline in recent years.
The exhibition will feature a section called Technoceramica devoted to machinery and raw materials for the ceramic industry, where Italian companies led by Acimac will be the largest group. Italian exhibitors in this section will include Air Power, BMR, Cami, CMF, Gape Due, ICF & Welko, LB, Lema, Martinelli, Mectiles, Sacmi, SITI B&T Group, Surfaces Technological Abrasives, System, Tecnodiamant and Tecnoferrari, while leading names in the glaze sector will include Colorobbia, Esmalglass-Itaca, Torrecid, Lamberti, Inco and Smaltochimica.
By expanding the exhibition to include other product sectors linked to home design (interior finishings, doors and windows, construction systems, passive house, etc.), the organisers of Batimat Russia are expecting to see a further improvement on the record attendance of 2017 when the event attracted 91,570 visitors, including distributors, architects, builders and interior designers.
