Design in the spotlight at Saiedue Living

10/03/05 - Saiedue Living, the leading European exhibition of architecture, interior finishings, building renewal and technologies, will be held in Bologna from 16 to 20 March.

It is an important event not only for interior designers, architects and designers but also for managers of modern showrooms, which are increasingly used for displaying examples of interior architecture to the public.

The wide range of products on display (doors, windows, stairs, floor and wall coverings, window frames, building refurbishing technologies, interior and exterior finishings, lighting, marble and natural stone and continuous facades) is divided up according to product categories.
This year there will be an extra 20,000 sq.m exhibit space available in the new halls opened for Cersaie 2004.
Along with the normal organisation by halls, there will be an increasing number of theme shows catering for specific requirements of industry professionals.

This include: Sates – Building Shell technologies and systems; Naturapolis – exhibition of ecological and ecologically improving products and services for building; Floor Expo – floor coverings show; SunWeek – exhibition of renewable energies; SecurBuilding – exhibition of security and safety, intelligent systems installation and home improvement; and Living Stones – marble and natural stone show.

One of the major innovations of this year’s show is Verticalia, which explores all aspects relevant to vertical walls in architecture, including both interiors and exteriors. (See in-focus section)
