El Khayyat purchases ninth plant from Manfredini e Schianchi
The longstanding partnership between Manfredini e Schianchi and El Khayyat Red Brick (Saudi Arabia) has now continued for more than 15 years, during which time a total of 9 plants have been supplied. The Sassuolo-based company is due to supply a new preparation plant along with additional fired brick and tile waste grinding lines for the facility in Alkhumra, near Jeddah. The plant is identical to the two supplied two years ago and installed at the Al Kharji and Sudair facilities.
The key components of the supply contract are the Slammer hammer mills, whose rugged, armour-plated structure and special hammers enable them to treat extremely difficult and wear-resistant materials.
The installation can accept incoming pieces up to 250 mm in diameter. The total production capacity of the two lines is 30 ton/h with an outgoing particle size below 2 mm and an electricity consumption of 12 kWh/ton.
