Fincibec invests in the historic Sassuolo site

Following the major projects carried through in recent months at the Century facility in Roteglia, Fincibec Group is continuing its investment programme by preparing to renovate the historic Monocibec facility in Sassuolo.

The cornerstone of the project is the installation of a new EkoRoll packaging machine. Unveiled by Sacmi at Tecnargilla 2014, this machine allows for a high degree of rationalisation of cardboard stocks (quantities used are reduced by up to 65%) and achieves a high production speed, one of the machine's key characteristics. The order also includes an LGV sorting line produced by NuovaFima.

The new Fincibec investment programme focuses on development, innovation and energy saving and will continue over the next few months. Vittorio Borelli, the Group's managing director, commented: "The investment project for the production of large-format panels at the Monocibec factory in Sassuolo will follow the installation of a new PH6500 press to optimise the production of standard sizes".
