Further expansion for Vetriceramici in Poland
Vetriceramici Spa, a chemicals company headquartered in Casola Valsenio (Italy) and specialising in the production of semi-finished products for the high value-added ceramic industry, has signed an agreement for the acquisition of a company division from Cover Poland Sp.Zo.o..
"The agreement enables us to step up our presence in an area of strategic importance for international expansion, and meets the primary need of providing the best possible service for our customers in Poland, the Czech Republic, Russia and Ukraine", explains Gabriele Brusa, the recently appointed General Manager of Vetriceramici Spa, who represents the Efibanca-Palladio Finanziaria (EPF) Fund, which holds a 70% stake in the Ravenna-based firm.
With an existing product care laboratory and its own technical/commercial organisation already in place in Poland, the Italian company has thus extended its business interests in Eastern Europe, adding new production opportunities and recording turnover of some 2 million euro, chiefly generated by products for the wall tiling sector.
