Italian ceramics in New York
The International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF), the most important American exhibition in its sector, was held recently in New York (15-18 May).
Thirteen Italian ceramic companies took part in the event in a collective space under the banner of Ceramic Tiles of Italy coordinated by Confindustria Ceramica and the New York office of the Italian Trade Commission ICE. These companies, which presented the latest design trends and high-end products, were Appiani, Ceramica Bardelli, Casalgrande Padana, Cooperativa Ceramica d'Imola, Etruria design, Fap Ceramiche, Impronta Ceramiche, Mapei, Ceramiche Refin, Rondine, Ceramica Sant'Agostino, Settecento - Mosaici e Ceramiche d'Arte and Tagina Ceramiche d'Arte. Florim, represented by the brands Rex Ceramiche Artistiche, Floor Gres, Casa Dolce Casa, Casamood and Cerim, took part as a direct exhibitor.
Distributors of Italian ceramic tiles based in New York also participated by displaying the Ceramic Tiles of Italy banner in front of the doors of their shops located throughout the city.
