Made expo on course for success
MADE expo, the new exhibition devoted to building and architecture to be held from 5 to 9 February 2008 in the ultra-modern Milan-Rho exhibition centre, is expected to be a truly international event.
With just under a month left before the show opens, a total of over 1,500 exhibitors have booked more than 100,000 square metres of stand space.
The event will be an opportunity to showcase all the most innovative building industry products and will give companies and institutions the chance to meet and communicate.
MADE expo will begin with the conference entitled "Build&Grow", devoted to the themes of innovation in architecture and sustainability in building, which will be held on 5 and 6 February and will feature two days of theme workshops.
The workshop "Building architecture" will be devoted to the theme of architectural innovation, the workshop "Growing the City" will analyse the theme of urban-scale project sustainability and the workshop "Construction on Site" will focus on building elements and component innovation.
Another event to be held during the expo is the exhibition entitled "Skin", which will showcase the latest projects by leading architects from various countries around the world and will take visitors on a journey to fourteen cities with unique architectural appeal.
