Migratech expands in China
Thanks to collaboration with the Chinese partner Boffin and the excellent results achieved by the Dongpeng Ceramic Co., LB’s Migratech technology is enjoying major success in the Chinese market.
New dry microgranulation lines are due to be supplied to a number of local ceramic groups in late 2016 and early 2017.
One of the latest orders was received from the Shijiazhuang-based ceramic company Lingshi, which will use Migratech for a line with an output of 20 million sq.m/year of wall tiles.
The advantages of the LB system include high finished product quality and a drastic reduction in energy costs, as well as the possibility of carrying out production in accordance with principles of sustainable development.
A further advantage of Migratech is that it is able to handle incoming raw materials with a high moisture content, avoiding the need for pre-drying at the quarry. It can also achieve much higher levels of fineness, large tile sizes and aesthetic qualities that are difficult to obtain with traditional dry grinding technologies.
