Milan, the world design capital
The 49th I Saloni, the international exhibition devoted to home and furnishing sector to be held in Milan from 14 to 19 April, is about to begin. Like every year, the city of Milan will showcase the highest expression of world design, combining product offerings, art and culture. The show itself will be complemented by four exhibitions focusing on the production of furnishings and accessories, on the kitchen, bathroom and design to be held at important Milan venues: the historic buildings Villa Reale and Pinacoteca di Brera, the nineteenth century Case Museo Poldi Pezzoli and Bagatti Valsecchi, Villa Necchi Campiglio, the Ulrico Hoepli Planetarium and the contemporary Triennale Bovisa.
The last edition of I Saloni was attended by 313,385 visitors, including 153,456 international visitors from 151 different countries.
