MosBuild expands by 20%

24/03/05 - The eleventh Mosbuild / Mosbuild+ (known as Russia Building Week), the international building and interior design exhibition, will be held from 4 to 7 April. The show will be held at the Expocentr in Moscow and for the first time also in the Crocus Exhibition Centre.
This annual event will host about 1,500 exhibitors and is expected to draw about 10,000 visitors. This year, for the first time ever, the show is divided into 2 events with 20% more total exhibit space:

• MosBuild (held in the Expocentr, previously the venue of the entire exhibition), comprises the sections Build, Ceramic & Stone, Decotex, Heat*Vent, Santechnika, Technoceramica (technology for the ceramic and brick industries), Control Systems, Garden, Metal.

• MosBuild+, held for the first time in the Crocus Exhibition Centre (a total space of 43,900 sq.m), is hosting companies from the sectors: Glass & Facades, Flooring, Interiors, Windows & Doors.

The show’s success (all available space was fully sold out just two months after the end of the 2004 event) is a result of the steady economic growth (GDP up by 7% in 2004) and the expanding domestic ceramic tile market, which increased by 5.8%.
