NG Kutahya chooses Kryo from Officine Smac
Kryo technology from Officine Smac has achieved a new success in Turkey, where it has been adopted by NG Kutahya, a leading high-end tile producer with a production capacity of around 28 million sq.m/year.
A Kryo F.130 cooler was recently installed at the new plant for the production of large ceramic panels which was started up in 2014 with Gea technology from System.
This system solves the problem of steam emissions from the high-temperature panels as they pass underneath the printheads. Productivity and print quality have been considerably improved by eliminating all humidity-related defects.
This confirms the validity of Kryo patented technology with its double closed-cycle cooling system, even for the production of large and very large tiles and panels.
