The first edition of Obra Blanca Expo, the new trade show organised by Tile Council of North America Mexico, will be held from 15 to 17 October in the Expo Santa Fe exhibition centre in Mexico City.
Devoted not just to the tile sector, Obra Blanca Expo will host more than 50 exhibitors covering all segments of materials for architecture and interior design, including ceramic tile, natural stone, bathroom and kitchen products, mosaics and installation materials. Along with the leading Mexican tile producers (including Lamosa, Porcelanite, Dal Tile, Interceramic, Nitropiso and Firenze), a number of international exhibitors and leading brands such as Villeroy & Boch, Porcelanosa, Mapei, Laticrete, Vidrepur and Techlam will also be present.
The trade show is expected to attract more than 8,000 architectural design, technical professionals and distributors, who will also have the chance to attend a packed conference programme including meetings with Pritzker prize winner Rafael Moneo and jury member Benedetta Tagliabue. There will also be a number of theme exhibition spaces curated by architecture firms.
To increase opportunities for contact between visitors and exhibitors, Obra Blanca Expo provides a digital platform for scheduling B2B meetings.
The Tech-Talks conference, to be held on 17 October and aimed at ceramic industry professionals will take stock of sector trends and the latest technological innovations.
