Prime Group and the largest body preparation centre in Asia
A partnership between Manfredini & Schianchi and Prime Group, the leading Vietnamese ceramic manufacturer and the fifth largest tile producer in the world, will give rise to the largest dry ceramic raw materials preparation centre anywhere in Asia.
The plant will fully exploit M&S Dry-Tech technology. Primary grinding will be performed by two Pig Maxy/Dryer hammer mills which will supply three Molomax 4/230-AIR pendular mills, assuring a production of more than 100 t/h of extremely high quality ceramic body. Agglomeration of the body will be performed by four Forgia MS38-AL granulators. The facility’s production will supply three tile production plants owned by the Prime group in Vietnam. In addition to the complete turnkey plant supply by M&S, all the Prime Group facilities will be equipped with M&S rotary screens (patented technology) which will guarantee ideal homogenisation and perfect loading of the material at the press. Here too the composition of the ceramic body is the result of the research carried out by the M&S technological laboratory.
Final production will be 80,000 sq.m/day of extremely high quality single fired tiles in sizes up to 600x600 mm. The economic savings made by choosing M&S technology are calculated to allow the investment to pay for itself within two years.
