Sabo in Turkey for Kilsan

Kilsan (Istanbul) and Sabo have continued their longstanding cooperation, resulting in the completion last May of a new technological project for the Turkish manufacturer's packaging department.

Kilsan decided to invest in a new high-capacity packaging line and installed one of the largest lines ever built. The system supplied by Sabo uses 8 programming benches served by 4 Fanuc robots, each of which picks up two layers of products and deposits them on a second programming line. A further 4 robots then deposit the material on the pallets, which are shrink wrapped and transported by a chain conveyor to the storage area.

The capacity of the new packaging line is 2,100 tons a day, corresponding to 1,050,000 pieces of 85 Tugla type brick.
