System expands in Saudi Arabia
System is continuing its process of internationalisation in Arab countries with the opening of a service branch near Riyadh.
When fully operational, the Saudi Arabian branch will employ about 6 local workers in the graphics, chemical and electronics departments and will have a mini ceramic laboratory equipped with Laser Lab and Rotocolor. This will enable it to transfer expertise in the field of rotary silicone printing to the local market, still dominated by flat screen printing, and to provide qualified technical support and an adequate customer care service.
This decision stems from the need to offer customers continuous support with sales of sorting, storage and decoration machinery and above all to provide a rapid response in terms of roller engraving, the supply of spare parts and technical support. The Saudi branch will be linked direct to the parent company with a view to exporting not only System’s technology but also its philosophy. It will be led by Abdu Salam El Kbaili who has been working in cooperation with System for years and has all the necessary technical expertise to develop and sell System products.
The start-up phase is planned for the first half of 2010.
