Ten companies for the Tecnargilla Design Award 2016

Ten exhibitors have already applied to take part in the fifth edition of the Tecnargilla Design Award, the contest conceived by Tecnargilla to reward the latest innovations in technology, materials and surface finishes that can be applied to the production of ceramic tiles.

They are Colorobbia Italia, Digital Design, Esmalglass Itaca, Esmaltes, Lb Officine Meccaniche, Emar Impianti, Sacmi, Sertile, System Group and Torrecid Group.

This year, the competing companies will have to tackle the theme of “Light and Shade”, presenting innovative and original projects using all the technologies, colours, decorations and finishes that combine to determine the aesthetics of ceramic tiles.

It will therefore represent the best opportunity to see the best technological and aesthetic stimuli for producing the tiles of the future in a single display area, confirming the central role of ceramics industry suppliers in ceramic design.

The winner will be selected by technical and creative directors of ceramics companies, ceramic tile retailers, designers and journalists.
