Turbomach enjoys growth in the ceramic industry
Turbomach, the multinational in the Caterpillar Group specialising in gas turbines for the production of electrical energy and heat for industry, recorded growth in all areas in 2015.
In the ceramic sector in particular, the best performing markets were Italy, Spain, Mexico, the Middle East and Africa.
To support further growth in the ceramic industry, Turbomach’s Swiss subsidiary (which handles sales and technical assistance for Europe, Africa and the Middle East), has planned a series of promotions to run throughout 2016, working hand in hand with corporate headquarters in the U.S..
After participating in the Acimac conference dedicated to "Energy efficiency in the ceramic industry" in Modena on 23 February, Turbomach will be on its way to Cleveland in April for Ceramics Expo, the exhibition focusing on advanced ceramics.
Later, in June, the company will hold a "Turbomach Customer Event" in Milan, during which it will present a new range of products and launch new financial services. Finally, in September, Turbomach will be back in Rimini for a second edition of Tecnargilla, the world’s most important showcase for suppliers to the ceramic industry.
There are developments on the production front too. Starting this year, production of the entire Turbomach range will be concentrated in the USA in order to optimise the product catalogue that was previously partly made in Switzerland.
Logistics for the European market will still be handled by local service centres operating in conjunction with the central warehouse in Germany, from which the various national warehouses will be stocked.
