Already successfully tested at the Cerámica San Lorenzo factory in Peru, Lamosa has also adopted the technology produced by I-Tech and distributed by Inter Ser at its factory in Guanajuato, Mexico.
The group’s Tile business results declined in the first nine months of 2023. With the acquisition of Baldocer, finalised on 31 October, the Mexican group’s consolidated revenues are expected to grow by 16%.
Following exceptional growth in 2022, Grupo Lamosa reported a 6% decline in revenue in the first quarter of the current year compared to the same period last year. The group’s financial structure remains solid.
The second complete Continua+ line supplied by Sacmi will be started up in May at the Incepa plant and will manufacture the new 160x160 cm and 160x320 cm SuperSize formats with 7 mm thickness.
As the first company in the Americas to start up a Continua+ line in 2015, Incepa has invested in DDG technology and won Best in Show 2022 at Revestir for its Fusion collection. It has already confirmed the purchase of a second Continua+.
Lamosa posted sales growth of 54% in the first half of 2021 and announced expansions in Brazil and Spain that will bring total production capacity to 225 million sqm/year.
