Creadigit' System
System Group is launching Creadigit, an automatic ceramic tile decoration machine with latest-generation inkjet technology.
Visitors to Tecnargilla 2012 will have the opportunity to discover the innovative characteristics of this product which combines printing speed and stability.
Patented by System Ceramics, Creadigit stands out for the resolution of the digital image as the native 400 dpi printheads perform 400 dpi printing at 40 metres per minute. Ink recirculation takes place at the nozzle plate and three-hourly cleaning is controlled by the brushless motor. Creadigit prints at 4 grey levels with up to a nominal 80 picolitres per droplet, lineless, with six colour bars (configurable from 4 to 6).
With Creadigit, a single digital machine can be used to print tiles moving on high-speed lines. Even the most complex graphic designs have extremely high definition, depth and fullness of colour, while the common defects of the ceramic digital printing process are eliminated. This is a result of the colour supply circuits, the optical assembly of the heads, the proprietary RIP (Raster Image Processor) software and the profiling software.
Given the high speed at which the piezoelectric element fires colour from the nozzle to the target point on the ceramic substrate, the colour dot can be positioned exactly where required, even in the case of textures requiring a greater distance from the tile surface. Optical printhead positioning ensures the absence of blurring. As regards printing stability, the system's colour circuit is patented for multiple ricirculations, a characteristic that ensures high ink flow uniformity and allows the machine to resume printing perfectly after a prolonged stoppage.
Machine maintenance is simple. The colour bars can be extracted individually and a single printhead replaced in the field. System printheads consist of several pieces and can be reconditioned separately, reducing overall maintenance costs.
The compact and easily adjustable design allows Creadigit to be installed without complications. The ergonomic design meets aesthetic and functional criteria. The operator maintains control over all the machine functions via the human-machine interface (HMI). Each colour bar is easily extractable and accessible from both sides to facilitate the operator in routine maintenance operations, with the possibility of refilling the colour front the front, directly from a tank or cubitainer.
Due to the proprietary integrated belt washing system, the effective vapour extraction system and the fully stainless steel structure, the machine is resistant to contact with solvents and chemical reagents
Creadigit raises the standard of reliability of digital systems. Thanks to the oversized machine components, the Creadigit piezoelectric jetting elements experience less stress than on standard models present on the market and reduce the failure rate of printheads.
