Hob Certec presents Hyperroll IQ
The new hi-tech roller combines shock resistance and flexural strength to guarantee a high level of flatness and a reduction in defects and deformations in the firing of tiles and high thickness slabs.
Hob Certec, the leading Czech manufacturer of ceramic kiln rollers, presents the latest addition to its roller range. Hyperroll IQ is a hi-tech roller which guarantees a high level of flatness and a reduction in defects and deformations and is suitable for firing all types of ceramic tiles and slabs, including high thickness products.
Developed by the R&D team led by Pavel Kopacka, the Hyperroll IQ is the first to combine all the most important technical parameters for ceramic rollers, particularly thermal shock resistance and flexural strength, an aspect that is especially important for large sizes.
Hyperroll IQ’s extremely high modulus of elasticity (120 GPa) enables it to withstand high loads, while its excellent thermal shock resistance allows rollers to be installed and removed even at high temperatures.
Further advantages of Hyperroll IQ include its low porosity, which avoids defects caused by chemical attack, and a smooth surface which stays clean for a long period of time and prevents dirt from accumulating. In the medium-long term, the use of Hyperroll IQ allows to reduce the consumption of the rollers.
The advice of Hob Certec is to use a single roller throughout the kiln, so as to optimize its handling, manipulation and change, as well as to simplify the management of the roller stock in the warehouse.
