Sacmi Group

At Ceramitec 2003, the Sacmi Group will be presenting its new PH 6200 tile press, the latest addition to the high-output Power range - particularly suitable for large porcelain tiles - which already includes the PH 4800, PH 3800 and PH 3020.
The new press is characterised by a high load width and, in spite of its generous dimensions, has a fast pressing cycle. It is also equipped with an Electronic Proportional Lifting system (SPE) which features an axis synchronisation board. Providing precision, speed and total planarity control, it is perfect for very large dies and thus ensures long-lasting performance of all die parts.

Sacmi Whiteware is presenting several new products at the exhibition, including the ADM 240 casting system by NIV Verona. This is a single or multi-mould solution with simultaneous de-moulding, designed for high-pressure casting of articles in two-part moulds.
The ADM 240 is being presented together with a de-moulding/handling robot developed by Gaiotto Automation. This company is also exhibiting a complete automatic piece handling plant that manages everything from de-moulding to loading/unloading of the kiln car. This plant also features a self-learning G900EV glazing robot. Sacmi Forni will be exhibiting the Xlnt [Excellent] sanitaryware tunnel kiln. This system, already presented at Tecnargilla 2002, features innovative, cutting-edge technology.

Sama Maschinenbau will be displaying:
- an isostatic pressing line for the production of large plates which features a robot-controlled finishing system. This fully automatic plant allows users to produce articles of considerable size and different shapes. Key plant features include the video camera system which identifies the position of the piece and the foot finishing system.
- a pressure casting plant for cups of complex shape. This consists of a tightening device for 4-part resin moulds and allows complete forming of cups and handles. This solution completes Sama's extensive range of cup-plus-handle casting solutions.
