Tecnema
The metal mesh conveyor (alternatively roller conveyor for special applications) is able to transport all sizes commonly obtained from diamond disc cutting up to 25x25 mm. This solution ensures the greatest efficiency in applications on the cutting line, is not susceptible to wear due to the quality of the materials used and does not waste heat.
The burners are equipped with regulation and control devices in accordance with standards, and temperature regulation during the process is performed analogously to that of firing kilns. The technique that Tecnema uses to achieve 98% drying with 0.5% residual moisture on various products with short cycles (3 - 7 minutes) is based on flame manifolds for water removal defined as "direct flame" and the application sequence. The technological solution is patented.
The Cut Dry series machines are clad with modular insulating ceramic fibre panels contained inside painted steel plate structures equipped with protective grids in the higher temperature zones.
To complete the drying process, these machines are equipped with blowing nozzles at the entrance to remove surface water and low-pressure fans to cool the material exiting from the dryer.
Tecnema is also presenting its Luxor series polishing machines, suitable for grinding green or dried porcelain products. The removal of a thickness of 0.5 to 1.5 mm over the entire surface of the tile reveals the natural colours inside the tile body. After firing, the finished product has the same appearance as polished fired material (bright colours and visible texture) with a rough or satin finish.
By polishing unfired porcelain tile - including through-bodied, double-filled, large granules, veined surface and other types - it is possible to obtain an additional commercial range of products with high added value in terms of the aesthetic quality of the surface for a negligible increase in production cost.
The planetary heads with motorized satellites have individually inverter-controlled speeds. They have a high removing capacity and perform a delicate action on the working surface, achieving a perfect finish, absence of faults on the tile edges and no breakage of tiles.
The Luxor line consists of two main models with conveyor belt of width 700 and with three or five grinding heads. Other versions can be supplied on request. Tecnema can also supply a flat disc grinding head suitable for working on materials with large granules and other applications. Ceramitec 2003: Hall B3, Stand 305
