The American ceramic tile market: the opinion of DalTIle

31/03/06 - 2005 was a very positive year for our company with strong sales in every region of the United States.
The strong building market is creating plenty of opportunity. What’s more, ceramic tile is being used more and more frequently in an expanding range of applications.
American consumers have understood that tile is a much more durable product than other materials and one that adds value to their homes, so they see a purchase of fashionable tiles with an attractive design and outstanding technical characteristics as an investment.
Tiles with vitreous or metallic effects are amongst the most popular types and are often used in a combination of different formats (large sizes together with smaller inserts).
It is also very fashionable to use a single series – such as a glazed or unglazed porcelain tile – both indoors and outdoors. For all these reasons we are cautiously optimistic about the future of the sector in spite of the fiercely competitive nature of the market.

We will continue to work with commitment and dedication in the certainty that manufacturing locally is an advantage for us.
We must continue to deliver outstanding quality together with a high level of service and communication to keep customers informed about our positive characteristics.
The very successful joint venture with Emilceramica is bringing enormous benefits for our product range.
