BMR presents ground-breaking technology at Tecna 2022
The new products presented at Rimini for the finishing and end-of-line stages of ceramic tile and slab production were very well received, as was the Brick division’s range aimed at the heavy clay industry.
Back after a four-year absence, Tecna 2022 in Rimini also proved a highly successful event for BMR, which showcased the fruits of its ongoing R&D work in finishing technologies in a renewed exhibition space that was greatly appreciated by the many visitors in attendance.
One of the new exhibited products was LeviCompact, an exclusive BMR-patented solution for lapping, satin-finishing and polishing large slabs with widths of 1600-1800 mm. In particular, it features two parallel oscillating bridges with 10 heads each that allow for higher speed and greater uniformity than traditional solutions.
Many of the company’s longstanding products have also been upgraded, including Leviga which delivers even higher performance and is more digital and more customisable, and SuperShine which adopts a new higher performance pumping system with enhanced communication capabilities. Another solution that attracted great interest was version 4.0 of SquadraDry Vision, equipped with video cameras and a laser system guaranteeing considerable benefits in terms of environmental friendliness, energy savings, consumption and tool cost.
For the engraving sector, BMR presented Twin-Cut, the dry surface engraving machine with opposing pre-cuts ideal for extra-thick materials.
The ShineVision and LappVision end-of-line technologies produced by Italvision, the group company specialising in quality control, were also displayed.
Last but not least, BMR presented its Brick Division, a range of technologies aimed at the heavy clay industry and consisting of a corner cutting line, machines for chamfering and packing brick slips, Multiblade (brick slip cutting), Speed Corner (corner gluing) and EcoBrick, the innovative brick squaring machine.
