The training course lasts for 1,200 hours, one third of which consists of in-company experience, and is due to start in December. Individual modules (see in-focus section) can be attended by ceramic company employees. The courses are taught by university lecturers, company directors and consultants and are divided into three interest areas: production programming, company quality system management and application of advanced logistic models.
By taking an end-of-course examination, students will be able to have their training credits recognised by the faculty of Engineering of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. The course is funded entirely by the Emilia-Romagna regional administration and the Ministry of Education.
