SITI-B&T adopts Talos

SITI-B&T recently acquired exclusive rights to distribute the Talos package developed by Weka, proposing integrated use with the supervision and control systems installed on their machines.

The system has already been supplied and installed at the Fiorano Modenese facility of Florim Ceramiche, where the package will undergo a high degree of customisation. Further functions undergoing development include field data collection and the creation of exchange documents with existing data acquisition systems. This way Talos will contribute to automatic integration of production data, relieving operators of the task of manual reporting.

Information on production changes along with production and machine stoppage data will allow a timeline to be created for batch development on the production lines, laying the foundations for a detailed quantitative analysis of batches and yields of the machines making up the line.
