Vetriceramici invites guests to "Viva Mexico!"
"Viva Mexico!" is the name of an evening event that will transport guests across the ocean to Mexico, to enjoy the flavours of the country's cuisine and the music of Mariachi bands. The event is being organised by Vetriceramici on 24 September at its site in Fiorano Modenese to celebrate the opening of the new Mexican production facility together with the company's Italian and international customers visiting Cersaie.
Located in Monterrey in the north of Mexico, not far from the border with Texas, the new facility represents a major investment for Vetriceramici. It stands on an 20,000 square metre site and is equipped with state-of-the-art industrial plant for the production of the entire range of Vetriceramici ceramic decoration products, as well as the new exclusive Vetridigit inks for digital technology.
The new production site in Monterrey will serve the Mexican and US ceramic industries and demonstrates the desire of the group based in Casola Valsenio (Ravenna) to expand both in Italy and in key international markets. This latest investment follows on from the previous internationalisation project in Poland.
