Appel gets off to an excellent start in 2012
Appel has begun 2012 with excellent results and is maintaining its strong recent performance with a new series of orders. These include four new large-format dimensional and diagonal control systems supplied to Casalgrande Padana, which as part of a programme to upgrade its lines has adopted Appel’s new-generation Tile-Control E instruments. These feature fully-automatic size change systems, very small overall dimensions and a capability for the maximum connectivity and data sharing.
In Brazil, Portobello has commissioned four new dimensional, flatness and diagonal control devices for installation at the kiln exit, thereby guaranteeing rapid and high-precision control of the entire production process. The company has also performed well in India. Following installation of the first quality control device, SIMS Ceramic (Simpolo) has placed a new order for four appliances for its new production plant. The quality of Appel’s products and its hard work in recent years have also resulted in major supply contracts being awarded by the Marazzi and Serenissima groups.
