Cevisama focuses on high-level visitors
Preparations are in full swing for the forthcoming edition of Cevisama, the International Ceramic, Natural Stone and Bathroom show to be held in Valencia from 9 to 12 February 2010.
Buyers from Central Europe, the Arab countries, North America and Eastern European countries have confirmed their attendance, while there will be around 440 stands of exhibitors in the fields of tiles, natural stone, marble, frit and glazes, bathroom furnishings and machinery.
A total of eight exhibition halls (halls 1, 2, 3 and 4 on levels 2 and 3) will be showcasing the latest new products in the ceramic tile and bathroom furnishing sectors.
By 22 January a total of 266 exhibitor companies had registered to take part. The Spanish industry will be almost fully represented with over 200 stands. There will also be around fifty international exhibitors including 11 from Italy (Epoca, Eiffelgres, Elegance, Gambarelli, Savoia, Klinkersire, Rondine and Marazzi, represented by Marazzi Iberia, in the tile sector and 3 companies in the bathroom furnishing sector); 6 from Turkey, including Vitra and Yurtbay; 3 from Portugal (Cinca, Recer and Topcer); the other countries taking part are Egypt (4 exhibitors), India (2), Iran (3), Thailand (with Cotto and Imex), Serbia (1), Germany (2), the UK represented by BCT, the United Arab Emirates with RAK, and China with around ten companies.
Hall 6 Upper (Level 3) will host the leading glaze producers, a total of more than twenty companies including Bonet, Coloresmalt, Colorobbia, Endeka, Esmalglass, Ferro, Fritta, Inco, Kerafrit, Megacolor, Quimicer, Sicer, Smalticeram, Torrecid, Vidres and Wanxing. This hall will also accommodate the raw materials producers, including Eczacibasi Esan, Kaltun, United Minerals Spain, Xieta and Zschimmer & Schwarz, as well as Assoprint, Tecnografica and Stylgraph from the decoration, creativity and design sector. The Czech company Hob Certec which specialises in the production of rollers for ceramic kilns will also be taking part this year.
The ceramic plant and machinery sector, present at Cevisama only in even numbered years, will be moving to a new location this year, Hall 6 Level 2, in the area between aisles F-G-H-I. There will be around forty companies, including 13 Italian firms - Air Power, BMR, Cuccolini, Diatex, Gieffe Systems, Novaref, OMS, Pragma, Sacs Tecnica, Smac, United Symbol, as well as System and Tecnema present in the ACIMAC stand (G160) – while the others will be prevalently Spanish, including the well-known brands Kerajet, Foro, Chumillas & Tarongi and Molaris.
As is customary, Hall 6 Level 2 will also feature materials and equipment for installation and treatment of surfaces, hosting amongst others Mapei, Litokol, Cercol, Fila, Rubi and Schluter System.
One of the new aspects of the 2010 show is the integration into Cevisama of the Feria Internacional de Piedra Natural, Maquinaria y Afines, Mármol, an exhibition section that represents the strong sector of natural stone, machinery and related products.
Highlights of the show include the traditional press conference by the Spanish ceramic tile manufacturers’ association ASCER, which will announce figures on the sector’s performance, and the award ceremony for the 8th Premio Ceramica de España Arquitectura e Interiorismo, also organised by ASCER.
Tile Edizioni will be attend to exhibition (Acimac Hall. N2-P6 Stand G160) with the latest numbers of magazines Ceramic World Review, spanish version, Brick World Review, Tile Italia and Tile International
Cevisama 2009 was attended by 82,000 visitors, including 11,500 international buyers.
