Cosmec and Sacmi form a strategic partnership in the heavy clay industry
Through a management buyout, the parent company Sacmi has entrusted Cosmec’s management to a team of highly experienced industry professionals.
Cosmec, a Verona, Italy-based company with more than 45 years of experience in the heavy clay industry, recently underwent a radical company reorganisation that has enabled it to widen its product range and establish itself as one of the leading suppliers of complete turnkey plants.
Through a management buyout, the parent company Sacmi has entrusted Cosmec’s management to a team of highly experienced industry professionals who have taken on active operational roles within the company.
The continuous technical and commercial collaboration between the two companies will play an increasingly strategic role in a competitive market, where Cosmec will remain the focal point for the entire heavy clay business, specialising in particular in the design of automated systems, kilns and dryers with the full support of Sacmi.
“With this important commercial partnership, Sacmi has entrusted its heavy clay operations to Cosmec, which has the necessary skills, expertise and professionalism to propose complete solutions for the brick and tile industry,” explained Cosmec’s CEO Giovanni Rorer.
“Cosmec will maintain its expertise in the heavy clay sector, and after achieving excellent operational results now offers its services to customers as a competent and reliable partner,” added chairman Ernesto Barbieri. “As for external growth, we are considering an M&A deal with a view to increasing the number of global customers served and further expanding our technical expertise.”
