I-Tech reports double-digit growth
The Sassuolo-based company posted 23% year-on-year revenue growth in 2021 thanks to the consolidation of its flagship technologies. The outlook is also excellent for 2022
I-Tech, a company specialising in the design of solutions for tinting, milling and intralogistic distribution of liquid semi-finished products, reported 23% year-on-year turnover growth in 2021 following the previous year’s 17% increase over 2019. This outstanding performance is the result of clearly defined strategies and excellent teamwork on the part of the I-Tech staff, as the Sassuolo-based company’s CEO Bruno Bettelli explains: “Market knowledge, product and sector diversification and continuous research and innovation with an increasing focus on Industry 4.0 and Lean Manufacturing are the essential levers underpinning our growth.”
This is reflected in the growing market interest in one of the latest solutions developed by I-Tech, an automatic glaze and engobe distribution system for glazing lines called G.O.D. Glaze on Demand, and even more so in the international success achieved in 2021 by one of the company’s flagship technologies, the I-NKFILLER® automatic ink tank filling system for digital printers.
“I-NKFILLER® has now reached more than 85% market share in this segment, exceeding sales forecasts in the first year and confirming the value of the brand,” says Bettelli, who is also optimistic about the market trends in 2022. “A number of projects discussed prior to the outbreak of the pandemic were approved last year and are now in the delivery phase. Moreover, international business began to recover strongly towards the end of 2021 and has been gaining momentum in these first few months of 2022, largely thanks to a partnership with Inter Ser in several international markets. Barring any surprises or uncertainties regarding the availability of materials, we expect the double-digit growth trend of the last two years to continue this year.”
