New kiln at NovaBell opened
On 21st March, in the presence of the CEO Mario Roncaglia, the new kiln at NovaBell in Roteglia (Reggio Emilia, Italy) was opened, which will enable the Italian company to increase the annual production capacity of ceramic tiles from 3.5 to 4.5 million sq.m.
The investment, worth approximately 2 million euros, marks a period of growth for the company: in 2013 the turnover reached 50 million euro (+13% compared to 2012), due above all to expansion on the international markets where approximately 90% of the production is sold. Over the years, important outlets in America and the Middle East have been added to the traditional European markets, which absorb approximately 65% of the sales.
The investment in the new plant and in new production capacity has also involved the recruitment of 12 new operators, bringing the company's workforce to approximately 185 employees.Did you find this article useful?
