System opens new branch in Iran
The Payam Special Economic Zone close to Teheran, an area set to become a major hub for advanced technology, is home to System’s new Iranian branch opened on 25 May, just five years after the Italian group set up its first branch in the country.
The new facility, which involved an investment of 2 million euros, stands out for the innovative architectural solutions chosen by company chairman Franco Stefani and rendered with clearly defined geometric shapes in the project created by Iranian architect Mehran Khoshroo from the practice Olgoo. Construction was commissioned to an Italian company.
With a staff currently totalling around 20 employees but set to grow over the next few years, the new branch will continue to deliver high-performance industrial solutions and processes to the local ceramic industry, which System has been partnering now for more than 25 years.
