The new body preparation department built by Setec, which previously also supplied the glazing tanks, has been started up at Ceramica Globo’s facility in Castel Sant’Elia.

Italian sanitaryware manufacturer SDR Ceramiche has installed the new Rapid Dry dryer from Setec in order to reduce energy consumption and increase productivity.
The Civita Castellana-based sanitaryware and tableware machinery manufacturer has seen its revenues surpass pre-pandemic levels this year and is expecting further growth in 2023.
The Setec technology laboratory developed crystallines for application to glazed products prior to firing in order to eliminate the problem of the formation of surface patinas or even incrustations on sanitaryware.
The Civita Castellana-based group has closed 2015 with a 30% rise in turnover and is looking forward to further growth in 2016. At the end of January it acquired Coeltunnel with a view to strengthening its position in the kiln segment.
