FORMA Plus by Colorobbia

Material effects, textures, reliefs and micro-reliefs. The new range of digital glazes, inks, grits and microgrits offers extremely realistic reproductions of natural stone, marble and wood in an unlimited variety of finishes while maintaining the unique technical performance of ceramic.

Following a year of celebrations marking the company’s centenary (1921-2021), at upcoming industry events the Colorobbia Group will continue to focus on its FORMA Plus range of premium products, one of the most formidable technical and aesthetic solutions currently available on the market.

The exceptional nature of FORMA Plus lies in the fact that it meets key requirements in terms of graphic design, the production process and environmental sustainability. It comprises a wide range of materials and solutions for creating reliefs and volumes on ceramic bodies of any type or size, regardless of the production conditions and individual aesthetic requirements.

The FORMA Plus range consists of three product families designed to fully exploit the potential of technologies currently available on the market: ExtraGlazes (water-based digital glazes), GraffitiInks (water-repellent inks) and Neogrits Collection (grits and microgrits).

With this series of premium products, the Italian multinational offers extremely realistic reproductions of natural stone, marble and wood in an unlimited variety of finishes while maintaining the unique technical performance of ceramic. Material effects, textures, reliefs and micro-reliefs are the key features of the ceramic floor and wall finishes.

One of the latest innovations from Colorobbia Group is the EkO Inks series of low-emission inks designed to integrate perfectly with Forma Plus. As part of its focus on environmental excellence, the group is also set to launch another series of green digital inks in response to increasing demand in a number of markets.

In parallel with the development of digital printheads, Colorobbia is finalising the development of its SPS+ Plus series of effect inks designed to optimise DOD (Drop on Demand) printhead discharges according to the speed of the production lines.

In the field of technical flooring, the group is also presenting a new series of Micro-Tech microgrits, which will combine R9-R11 slip resistance ratings with attractive textures and easy-to-clean surfaces.

Finally, for the niche sector of floor and wall decoration projects, Colorobbia Group has selected an artistic range of coloured grits in gloss and matt finishes for dry application, complemented by the new series of digital adhesives designed to optimise drying times and improve solids fixation ratios according to the desired matt or gloss finish.
