The big players in the sanitaryware sector (2020)

Roca, Kohler, Geberit and Toto lead the rankings of the world ceramic sanitaryware manufacturers by volumes of production in 2020. See who is next.

With a production of 30.3 million pieces in 2020 and manufacturing plants in Europe, South America, North Africa and Asia, the Spanish multinational Roca Group confirms itself as the biggest ceramic sanitaryware manufacturer in the world; its production is sold with the brands Roca, Laufen, Celite, Incepa, Parryware, Jika, Ying, Santeri and Santek.

The US Kohler Group follows, with an estimated production capacity of 25 million pieces, installed in 13 facilities in the USA, Mexico, Brazil, France, Morocco, Thailand, India, Indonesia and China.

Third in the rankings is the Swisse Geberit group (brands Kolo, Keramag, Ido, Ifo, Colombo, Koralle, Selles, Allia, Pozzi Ginori, Porsgrund, Sphinx), which can count on an estimated production capacity of 14.5 million pieces, installed in its European plants in Finland, Sweden, Poland, Germany, Switzerland, France, Portugal, Italy and Ukraine).

Geberit is followed by the Japanese Toto group, which manufactured 12 million pieces in the year 2020 in its 4 plants in Japan and further 10 spread in China, Taiwan, Indonesia, India, Vietnam, Thailand, USA and Mexico.
