Egyptian company Aracemco chooses MS-Drytech from Manfredini&Schianchi
Aracemco, a historic Egyptian ceramic company set up in 1975, has chosen MS-Drytech technology from Manfredini&Schianchi to upgrade its raw materials preparation plant for the production of body for single firing.
After using this technology for just a few weeks, the company has already achieved its targets in terms of increased productivity, higher product quality, energy savings and use of local raw materials, all of which have contributed to strong growth in sales.
Aracemco's decision reflects the need to keep pace with an increasingly demanding and constantly expanding market. Despite the recent political problems which have curbed the country's economic development, the Egyptian ceramic tile industry has experienced three-figure growth in production and domestic consumption in recent years to become the leading country in Africa and one of the top ten in the world.
