A 7-layer horizontal dryer and a latest-generation kiln made by ICF&Welko are now fully operational at the Tuscania Ceramiche facility in Serramazzoni (Modena).

The new line will be used mainly for the production of 3 mm and 6 mm thick panels in sizes 3600x1200 mm, 3200x1500 mm, 2600x1200 mm and 2600x1500 mm.

The rebranding operation will accompany the company’s current efforts to reorganize its international market presence.

ICF Welko has upgraded all its product lines with the aim of becoming a key player in the development of the “ceramic factory 4.0”.

Pakistan's largest tile manufacturer is due to start up a new 24,000 sq.m/day plant for the production of porcelain tiles, glazed stoneware and monoporosa in late 2017.

System Ceramics will supply the Germany company with a complete plant for the production of panels in sizes up to 1600 x 3200 mm.
